Franchise Opened 2002
ServiceMaster Advantage opened for business on April 9, 2002. Founders Jeff and Lisa Turner operated the fledgling company out of their home in Delphi, Indiana. They chose the ServiceMaster Clean® brand because of its 60 plus year history, industry leading technology, great market presence and name recognition.
The Company grew rapidly. In addition to the core ServiceMaster Clean services - carpet and upholstery cleaning, water damage dryout, and fire damage cleaning - it began offering full repair / reconstruction services in 2003.
Hard work and a dedication to quality allowed for additional growth, eventually leading to a 30,000 sf building lease in Delphi.
In January 2007, ServiceMaster Advantage opend its Merrillville office to support its customers in Lake, Porter, & Jasper Counties.
By that same time in early 2007, demand for new construction (non-disaster related) services had increased. In order to supply this market without violating contractual arrangements with ServiceMaster Clean, Wildcat Contracting LLC was formed from the Company's then Construction Department.
In 2008, the Company's lease in Delphi expired. Renewal wasn't an option since the building was slated for demolition to make room for the Hoosier Heartland Highway. A suitable property in Lafayette was located and purchased - our new headquarters.
